It was a great weekend. We had many friends over to our house. It was nice because we’re in a new place and sometimes it feels a little isolated.
Saturday morning Hatsuho’s friends Shizuka and Yuko came over to the house for fellowship. I took the kids to the park while the ladies talked and had dessert.
Later in the afternoon the Nakagawa family came over and brought dessert. We had a nice time talking together.
After that we went to the Thompson’s house for dinner. It was a nice big American style dinner. They were generous hosts and the four Thompson children played a lot with Kenichirou. Ken was very happy about that. And we had our third dessert of the day.
Sunday morning the Masaoka family came to Sanda. Mr. Masaoka is my kung-fu sifu and he brought his wife and two handsome children. He introduced me to Ryuushin先生 who teaches many traditional Japanese arts including 空手 and 居合道.
Sunday evening the Peyton family was alone together. We relaxed and drew pictures with Kenichirou.
It’s always a special thing to spend time with friends, meet new people, and begin new relationships. We’re very thankful for all the support we’ve received.
