On Golden Week we visited Mt. Kurama in Kyoto. It is a place of great beauty and mystery. They say there were once mountain goblins there who trained the great samurai warriors. It is also the birthplace of “reiki.”
We enjoyed the hike up the mountain in the shade of the trees. Kurama is a very relaxing place with fresh air.
Clinton Riley took time on his tour of Japan to spend the day with us at Kurama. We wish him the best on the rest of his many journeys.
