Last Saturday, Ark Academy had a Mexican Fiesta party! There were a lot of kids and mothers and even a few dads. We really filled up the room.

We started the party by dancing jarabe tapatio, the Mexican Hat Dance. It’s a fun exciting dance and people had a good time with it.

The children got some cool prizes! Everyone was excited to win a prize!

The main event was the pinata breaking. The pinatas were too strong and mom and dad had to help the children break them open. Next time I’ll have to use thinner paper on the outside of the pinatas.

After the pinatas, it was noon and many people went home for lunch but some stayed and did a fun craft with Hatsuho.

I’m glad we could share some Mexican culture with the people of Sanda.

Here are some more pictures.
