It’s over! Our first Saturday kamishibai was this morning! It was alot of fun! We had eight children there and a lot of good energy. Even mommies and daddies were dancing and singing. It was great meeting new people as well as spending time with old friends.
We sang songs and did fingerplays, then we did some funky dancing. Then we had the main event: the Anpanman story. After that we sang and danced a final song before turning the kids loose for free play. Parents enjoyed conversation over coffee. This group was pretty multi-cultural too. We had one mother from Indonesia and one father from Korea.
Good times! I can’t wait for next week!
